The business is managed by Anya Mullin who has more than 30 years experience in the industry and who works on-site to ensure clients receive professional advice and first class service. Anya brings quality clothing alterations to Gold Coast.
Anya's experience
Skillful, Friendly Service
Anya is proudly Australian and has been creating and altering clothing from a young age. She attended a college for 4 years in Europe where she studied clothing manufacture and later worked in a number of factories that produced everything from jeans, jackets, suits, uniforms and even tents. With her years of experience, Anya was appointed as the general manager and later left to start her own business in children’s clothing.
In 2007, Anya moved to Sydney and continued in this business, particularly clothing alterations for select clientele. In 2017 she joined LookSmart Alterations, where she worked as a seamstress on accounts that included brands such as Gucci, Prada, Hugo Boss, Hermes and Zimmermann.
Finesse Alterations established
An inevitable result was the establishment of Anya's own business. In 2018 Anya opened the first studio, conveniently situated in the suburb of Broadbeach Waters, Gold Coast. In 2020 Anya opened a second store in Bundall and ensures clients are always treated with warm, friendly and expert service. Garments as simple as a T-shirt to intricate wedding dresses are catered for
using our high quality machines.
Amanda
Experience Down Under
Amanda was born and bred in Australia. In the 80's Amanda learnt her trade under the tutorage of an experienced European tailor completing an apprenticeship of 3 years. Later she would travel to Europe where she would further develop her business skills and come to understand European service and style.
Finesse's gain
Amanda brings a wealth of expertise to Finesse with 30 years experience in the clothing manufacture and alteration business. Amanda has also specialised in tailoring of jacket and suits, formal wear and bridal wear and has extensive knowledge of the manufacture and repair of fashion leather.
Customer service excellence
In 2017 Amanda joined an international clothing alterations group where she worked for 3 years and was responsible for intricate repairs and the management of their Brisbane outlet.
